Free Speech Undermined By Angela Merkel, Not 'Terrorists'

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36055488
Remember Charlie Hebdo?..a little over a year ago 'terrorists' attacked free speech. As of today politicians do the same thing minus the murder, ..for now that is.
In case you are still wondering (as opposed to SEEING) where 'the world' is going I suggest you read up on George Orwell's 1984, a good place to start. Wake up but do it quickly for time is not on your hand and while you're at it, mentally prepare to kiss your beloved 'Western values' goodbye and enjoy them while you still can.

Let's remind ourselves of this truthful thought of Benjamin Franklin:

"Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech."

"Because he told THE TRUTH, and once you've heard THE TRUTH, everything else is just cheap whiskey..."

Look around and observe that most people don't want to know THE TRUTH. Instead they just want constant reassurance of what they BELIEVE is true... which is solipsistic and therefore evil.

"CREATE A BELIEF IN THE THEORY AND THE FACTS WILL CREATE THEMSELVES" - Joseph Jastrow

..this of course relates to confirmation bias, one of the many cognitive biases. Study them and eliminate them for clear thinking. Good luck!

“Truth does not become more true by virtue of the fact that the entire world agrees with it, nor less so even if the whole world disagrees with it.” - Maimonides

Speaking of which: differentiate truth/a truth from 'the truth'. The latter is ABSOLUTE, IMMUTABLE and pure whereas a truth is 'subjective', impure and aspect of SOLIPSISM.

"All TRUTH passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." - Arthur Schopenhauer?
