More 'Connected' But Lonelier Than Ever

http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/health-and-families/features/the-loneliness-epidemic-more-connected-than-ever-but-feeling-more-alone-10143206.html
The first paragraph of article above goes: Modern life is making us lonelier, and recent research indicates that this may be the next biggest public health issue on par with obesity and substance abuse.  A recent review of studies indicates that loneliness increases mortality risk by 26%.
It amuses me to see 'research' had to be done to come to this OBVIOUS conclusion.
Just look at people these days when they are waiting. traveling or simply don't know what to do or what to say. They'll simply flee into their phones, laptops or tablet which all only display symbols. In case there is interaction with other humans it's probably via Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter or any other SOCIAL network but there is no REAL communication. Only synchronization and coordination...at best, the irony.

Our Maximum Mad World Needs...Another Mad Max

Yet another dystopian movie, you can't have enough predictive programming. Shift away from the idea/meme that movies are there to entertain you, for that is only half true. Learn to study them and focus on symbology and 'synchromystical' occurrences e.g. the timing of when a movie is released. Try to figure out what it means beyond the framework of cinematography, storytelling and art. Have fun!
